Laura Linney
Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February 1964. She is an American actor best known for her ability to portray strong characters who are also fragile. Linney was born into an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father named Romulus Linney, was a writer. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City 1990. She started performing immediately on Broadway and was awarded awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
