Georges

Claire Elise Boucher is a Canadian musician, singer and songwriter from Canada. [2][3] The range of her early music has been described as "lo lo R&B" and "futuristic dance-pop". Her music has included elements of hip-hop, electronic and rock. Her lyrics often have science fiction-related themes as well as feminist issues. She has released five studio albums. Grimes was born in Vancouver before moving to Montreal around 2000. Grimes started releasing her music as a solo act from the mid 2000s. The albums released were through Arbutus Records in 2010, Geidi Primes and Halfaxa in 2010. After joining 4AD, she rose in popularity through Visions the third studio album. Visions includes the singles "Genesis", and "Oblivion" which won her an award called the Juno Award in Canada for Electronic Album of the year. In the years following, the fourth album of her studio, Art Angels, was released in 2015 , and was met with critical praise as several publications named it the best album of 2015. In 2020, she released Miss Anthropocene (her fifth studio album). Grimes is the judge for Alter Ego, a music contest. She was a part that of Cyberpunk 2077 2020 role-playing game.
