Amanda Elizabeth Righetti was born in the United States. She's an actor, producer and writer. She is best known for her role as CBS drama The Mentalist's special agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti is a Utahn native who was always interested in performing. At the age of four, old she began dancing. In 1995, she made her first big screen appearance in the movie Love and Happiness. In the smaller screen, her first appearance was on CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a special guest. Righetti was a 14-year-old model when she began her career. Righetti began her modeling career when she was 14 years old. The model moved into Los Angeles four years later and played small, but significant role. The superhero film Captain America : The First Avenger Fox's soapy North Shore as well as in Reunion. Between 2008 and 2015 she was Grace Van Pelt, earning high praise from critics.
