In her interviews, the famous woman has claimed that before her conversion to Christianity, she could not have forgiven her abusive partner. It was one of the toughest decisions I've ever made. I reached out to the person that physically assaulted me. This was no effortless decision. After a lot of prayer and fasting, I proclaimed via phone that I forgive him, and while I didn't feel in any way guilty, I did ask him for forgiveness. It was just a simple plea. It was not a reason to justify my actions. Mariste Urach describes her reaction to Globo in an intimate interview, when she learned that sexual harassment had been perpetrated against her daughter.
